Tally Marie

I can't believe Tally made her debut almost 3 weeks ago!! Here's how it all went down:

August 18th at 5:30pm my water broke while I was laying in bed watching Friends. Clay was at the gym. I called him to come home and we were off to the hospital! On the way we dropped Snoop off at daycare. Haha. We arrived at the hospital and I was 3cm and 75% effaced. Dr. Chambers wanted to see how my body progressed naturally, so we got all settled in. Around 11pm I started having contractions....I decided it was time for an epidural! The doctor arrived at about 12am to do the epidural. I was still only 3-4cm. By 5am I was only around 5cm so they started Pitocin. By 8:30am I was 10cm and it was time to start pushing!! Tally Marie arrived August 19th at 9:28am weighing in at 6lbs 15oz and 18 3/4 inches. We were very lucky to have such an amazing labor and delivery experience. We could not have asked for anything better.

Art from Granddad

I absolutely love these ballerinas from my dad. They look amazing over the crib. These ballerinas will be something that our baby girl can cherish forever.

Nursery

The thing I love about her nursery are the little touches from family members. She already has so many people that care about her and have taken the time to make something for her nursery. I still need a few things for the walls but it's just about done!! Now we just need a sweet baby girl.

Her cousin, Peyton, drew a ballerina.

Dresser with piggy bank, baby book, and a picture of Clay trying on his first pair of blue jeans.

Bunny chair with books.

Ballerinas from her Granddad.

A hand-stitched quilt from her Great-Grandmother. (hanging over the chair)
